Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation Wins State-Level Awards
The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) and the Smart City Mission have made a significant achievement by winning two state-level awards in the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Administrative Efficiency Campaign and Competition 2025–26', an initiative of the Maharashtra government aimed at improving transparency and efficiency in governance.

This project secured second rank at the state level, earning a cash prize of 6 lakh. The initiative uses advanced technology to provide multiple civic services directly to citizens through digital platforms.

Aamhala Khelu Dya (Let Us Play)
This programme secured first rank at the state level in the ‘Government Officials' category, winning a cash prize of 50,000. The initiative focuses on removing encroachments from playgrounds and maintaining their cleanliness, ensuring safe and accessible play spaces for children across the city.
The ‘Aamhala Khelu Dya' initiative was implemented under the guidance of former municipal commissioner G Sreekanth, showcasing the dedication and commitment of the municipal corporation towards improving the quality of life for its citizens.
