Chief Minister Directs Industries Department to Expedite Land Acquisition
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has given a directive to the officials of the Industries department to complete the acquisition of land proposed for industrial development at the earliest.
This move will enable the allotment of lands to firms that have entered into a memorandum of understanding with the State government for setting up their units.
Priority Land Allotment for Firms with Global Reputation
According to the directive, officials should take steps to classify the industries that signed the MoUs into three categories.
- Firms with global reputation should be given first priority in land allotment.
- A planned approach should be adopted in the development of facilities/amenities for industries, keeping their future needs in view.
The goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient industrial development process, attracting top global companies to set up their units in the state.
