Two friends, in love with the same girl, fought ramming their vehicles into each other in the middle of the High Tension Road in Vijayawada on Thursday night. The violent scene, which seemed to be lifted from a faction movie, made the onlookers feel tensed for a few moments.

The differences between the youngsters deepened to such an extent that they raced their vehicles against each other in full public view on High Tension Road. With tempers still running high, both of them got down their vehicles and confronted each other exchanging fisticuffs, stalling traffic and causing fear among onlookers.
Om, who claims to be a relative of YSRC leader Jogi Ramesh, celebrated YSRC president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's birthday at the college where he is studying in a grand manner by leading a huge vehicle rally on the occasion.
According to reports, Om called Rohit and asked his whereabouts. During the conversation, they had a discord and entered into an altercation. Soon Om reached the High Tension Road in his Thar Jeep vehicle and Rohit, who also was in a jeep, rammed his vehicle into Om's Thar, for several times. The onlookers passing through the road felt anxious and a few even took to their heels fearing more violence.
Feeling enraged and furious against each other, Rohit and Om got down their vehicles, took out roads and broke the windshields of both vehicles.
On information, police rushed to the scene and by the time, Rohit fled the scene.
Patamata CI Pawan Kishore said that a case has been registered. Police said that when the friends clashed, there was a woman in one vehicle and some youth in another vehicle.
