Chief Minister Directs Officials to Expedite Land Acquisition for Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called upon officials and elected representatives of the erstwhile united Mahbubnagar district to take immediate action in completing works related to land acquisition for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS).
Key Initiatives:
- Complete Land Acquisition on War Footing: The Chief Minister has directed officials to expedite the land acquisition process for PRLIS, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to complete the project without any further delays.
- Ensure Prompt Compensation: The State Government is committed to releasing compensation for acquired land without any delay, ensuring that farmers and landowners are fairly compensated for their properties.
- Monthly Review Meetings: The district Ministers have been instructed to conduct review meetings with officials on a monthly basis to assess the status of ongoing projects and identify areas for improvement.
The Chief Minister convened a meeting of the Ministers and MLAs of Mahbubnagar district on Tuesday to review the status of ongoing projects, including PRLIS.
During the meeting, the government expressed its commitment to clearing pending dues related to other projects in the district, ensuring that all necessary support is provided to facilitate their progress.
