Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy Slams Karnataka Government Over GBIT Project
Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy has accused the Karnataka government of running the Greater Bengaluru Integrated Township (GBIT) project near Bidadi as an "official real estate business."
Concerns Over Lack of Farmer Consent
Kumaraswamy expressed his concerns over the government's decision to push forward the project despite over 80% of farmers not giving their consent.
- Kumaraswamy has urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to scrap the project.

Allegations of Government Involvement in Land Scam
Kumaraswamy has alleged that the government is directly involved in a scam to turn fertile agricultural land of eight villages into real estate.

Threats to Farmers Refusing to Give Up Land
Kumaraswamy has alleged that farmers who are refusing to give up their land are being intimidated.
"There is no question of giving up land. Let them come and take it, let us see how they seize the land."

Call for Transparency in Fact-Finding Committee Report
Kumaraswamy has called for transparency in the fact-finding committee report led by Law Minister H K Patil.
"That committee visited places like Bidadi, Soluru and Hoskote. What happened to that fact-finding report? Did you keep it or did you throw it in some dustbin? If you have kept it, please disclose it."
