Sundaram Alternates Closes SA Real Estate Credit Fund V at ₹2,500 Crore
Sundaram Alternates, the alternative investment arm of Sundaram Finance, has announced the final close of SA Real Estate Credit Fund V at ₹2,500 crore, surpassing the initial target corpus of ₹1,500 crore within less than seven months of its inception.
The fund, which is India's first ESG-aligned real estate credit fund, has already committed over 90 per cent of the capital raised across investment deals, focusing on senior secured, amortising and cash-generating deals from brownfield residential projects, prioritising capital protection and downside risk management.

Fund V has received support from a broad cross-section of insurance companies, family offices, corporate treasuries, and ultra-high-net-worth investors, apart from the sponsorship of the Sundaram Finance Group.

In a statement, Karthik Athreya, MD, Sundaram Alternates, said, "Our focus turns to delivering the outcomes we have committed to, while continuing to build our alternates platform for the next phase of growth, which is already well underway with a host of innovative and risk-adjusted products being launched and under development."
