As GCC ecosystems expands at a rapid pace, there has also been a rise in organisations helping them find their footing in the Indian market. According to a report from GCC consultancy firm UnearthIQ, India’s GCC enablement market which include advisors, IT services firms, real estate developers, staffing houses, executive search firms, innovation hubs, boutique consultancies, is pegged to be at $12-15 billion. This market is expected to expand to $20-$25 billion by 2030. The report suggests that nearly 80 per cent of this market opportunity comes from two segments Real Estate and Talent On Demand or subcontracting firms. The opportunity from commercial real estate including office spaces and co-working spaces is estimated at anywhere between $6-$7 billion while talent subcontracting opportunity is expected to be in the range $4-5 billion. Set-up & Launch Services, Consulting services and Recruitment/Talent Acquisition are highlighted as other promising opportunities. The report highlights that GCC Enabler Landscape has expanded over 15X over the past decade and now includes more than 150 players who are competing to service the 80-100 GCCs entering India annually. The report notes that the bulk of the GCC enabler opportunity is not coming from new centres being launched, but from the expansion of existing GCCs already operating in India. Of the estimated $12–15 billion enabler market, nearly $11–14 billion is linked to brownfield expansion activities across over 2,000 existing GCCs, compared to just $750–930 million from greenfield setups.
