Andhra Pradesh: TDP Leader Seeks CM's Intervention for Nunepalli RUB
Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari has made a plea to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to release funds for land acquisition in order to construct a road-under-bridge (RUB) at Nunepalli in Nandyal Town.
Background to the Demand:
- A road-over-bridge was built at Nunepalli in Nandyal Town as a replacement for level crossing No. 185.
- However, the road-over-bridge has become a safety hazard due to the heavy unauthorized entry of pedestrians.
Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari, who is also a national general secretary of the TDP, met with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on May 11 to discuss the issue.
Proposal for Road-Under-Bridge:
- A proposal has been put forward for the construction of a road-under-bridge at Nunepalli.
- The proposed RUB requires the acquisition of 2,335 square meters of land.
Ms. Shabari requested CM Naidu to direct officials to acquire the necessary land for the construction of a RUB at Nunepalli, ensuring public and operational safety.
A Call to Action:
Ms. Shabari's request to CM Naidu highlights the need for urgent action to address the safety concerns at Nunepalli.
By releasing funds for land acquisition, the government can move forward with the construction of a road-under-bridge, improving safety for both the public and railway operations.
